Job Description
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of network servers and virtualization
Install / upgrade Hardware and software, manage VMs and automation processes.
Worked on HP servers, G8, G+, G10 and blade servers
Proficient in Raid Types and Raid controller set up
Firmware updates through ILO
Hardware replacement up to motherboards. Perform cache module, battery module, system board, processor, diagnosis with replacement and firmware upgrade.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
Perform full hardware replacement, customization, server configuration, installation and factory reset.
Perform systematic collection and reporting of scheduled server health and diagnostic logs.
Basic knowledge for capacity, storage planning, storage addition and management and database performance
Qualifications:
Minimum - Degree / Diploma (3 years full time)
Experience: 1- 2 years of Experience
Working knowledge of Virtualization, HP Servers, iLO, Bladesystem, VMware,(Preferred)
Soft Skills:
Effective communications skills - English, Hindi/Marathi
Team player, Ability to handle pressure, Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, Keen learner.
