Job Summary

Weta Digital seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join its dynamic team. As an integral member, you will oversee the maintenance and improvement of extensive infrastructure supporting over 1500 crew members. With your strong background in DevOps and automation, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering world-class visual effects.

Responsibilities

Oversee the installation, management, and monitoring of infrastructure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Develop and implement scripts for automation and configuration management.

Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems.

Requirements

Robust experience in scripting languages, including Python, Ruby, and PowerShell.

Proficiency in Puppet, Terraform, or similar configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Hands-on experience with Ubuntu or Debian-based operating systems.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
