Area+ provides IT support services to over 500 clients and has two Datacentres that provide a range of Cloud Services to clients using technologies from industry-leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HP, Pure Storage, and more.
We have positions available for experienced Systems Engineers in our Darwin office.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support via telephone and online support tools.
Provide onsite/desk side support to our valued clients.
Experience required:
Minimum 2-3 years of IT desktop support experience in Windows Desktop environments.
Server support experience (Level 3 role).
A solid understanding of computer, network, and internet technologies.
Incident management at first and second level with troubleshooting capability.
Previous experience in a helpdesk or call centre environment working with telephony and job logging software.
Demonstrated experience in Customer service.
Customer Management Skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
Demonstrated time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities and follow processes.
Qualifications:
Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Information Technology.
ITIL Foundation Certification or similar industry qualification.
A Degree or Diploma in IT.
A Current Microsoft Certification.
Fortinet NSE4 or higher.
Personal Attributes:
Self-motivated.
Positive, client-focused attitude.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt knowledge to new environments.
A passion for technology and a desire to grow your career in IT.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
