Position Name: Functional Safety
Location: Bangalore, India
About the Role:
• Looking for Lead Engineer who will be working closely with Hardware, Software and Systems engineering teams to deliver the next generation of Automotive SOC's.
• Ideal candidate is someone who has strong knowledge and hands on experience with Functional Safety ISO 26262 standards. He should be able to implement safety standards for Automotive SOC's and its applications.
• This is a first set of lead hires for this function and you will be part of rapid prototyping and product development team.
Responsibilities:
1. Software verification plan, developing the test plans and verifying the software for ISO26262 standards.
2. Writing an exhaustive test cases/scripts.
3. Test Report analysis.
4. Defect fixing based on the static analysis tools.
1. Lead the development and implementation for hardware functionality safety concepts and architectures for Automotive SOC's.
2. Establish H/W safety goals. Requirements. Verification strategies in compliance with ISO 26262.
3. Work closely with cross functional teams to develop design that fulfill automotive functional safety aspects focusing on Part 5 and Part 6 of ISO 26262 deliverables.
4. Developing the test plans and verifying the software for ISO26262 standards and Writing an exhaustive test cases/scripts.
5. exposure to Hardware - Software Interface specification.
6. Develop safety requirements verification reports and safety analysis reports.
7. Develop S/W safety analysis reports
8. Development of supplier selection reports, Development interface agreements and supplier safety plans.
9. Good hands on experience with conducting safety analysis, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA to identify potential safety risk in H/W and S/W designs.
10. Involvement in internal and external functional safety audits and assessment.
11. Performing verification reviews for the safety related work produces as per ISO 26262.
Roles:
1. At least 7 to 8 years of experience in functional safety standards.
2. Hands on experience with common analysis techniques such as FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA
3. Formulating and designing ASIL B, C and D conforming systems.
4. Exposure to ASPICE SWE.6(Software Qualification Test) level.
5. Exposure to dSPACE set up for the qualification test activities.
Level 2: ISO 26262 Functional Safety Professional Certification would be added advantage.
