Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Support Engineer to deploy at our client site for 3 month's. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in providing end-user support for various IT hardware and software systems. This includes supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and ensuring seamless domain joining and software support. You will be the first line of support for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. End-User Support : Provide first-level technical support for end-users related to hardware and software issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
2. Hardware Repair & Service : Perform repairs and upgrades for desktops, laptops, and printers. Diagnose hardware problems and coordinate with the relevant teams/vendors for replacement parts if required.
3. Software Support & Installation : Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and business software applications. Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
4. Domain Joining & Network Configuration : Assist in joining systems to the corporate domain and ensuring connectivity. Support network-related issues and troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems.
5. Incident Management : Log and track support requests using the company's ticketing system. Ensure timely resolution of incidents and escalate issues that require higher-level support.
Qualifications & Skills :
1. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are a plus.
Experience :
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and business software.
• Proven experience in managing domain joins, system configurations, and end-user troubleshooting.
Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common business software.
• Familiarity with printer setup and configuration.
• Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
