Security Requirements: Australian Citizenship and no disclosable court outcomes required for NV1 security clearances.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will design, implement, and support systems and infrastructure for our clients, working closely with them to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
You will collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure availability, security, and performance of our systems. We value work-life balance, allowing you to work from home or in our offices in Canberra, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with no disclosable court outcomes, as you will need NV1 security clearances.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement systems and infrastructure based on client requirements
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for systems and infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security
- Collaborate with other IT team members for seamless integration and operation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or related role
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and associated infrastructure applications and best practices
- Experience with Systems Centre Management (SCCM, SCOM), Exchange Server, virtualization technologies (Nutanix, VMware), and Hypervisor management
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Good understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication and interpersonal skills
CURRENT security clearances (NV1) are desirable but not mandatory; however, you must be at least a citizen to apply.
