This position requires a highly motivated individual with systems engineering experience to include but not limited to the duties below:
Conduct comprehensive program portfolio reviews to evaluate and recommend alternative plans, enhance systems engineering processes, manage and sustain technical baselines, and design/perform system-level tests to ensure subsystem and system performance aligns with approved specifications
Conduct formal trade studies considering engineering performance, effectiveness, cost-performance balance, lifecycle cost, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program and at least 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD
Experienced in requirements development, production and deployment, and operation and support, architectures development & implementation, modeling & simulation including but not limited to Model Based Systems Engineering principles, verification & validation, technical data package development and sustainment, and principles of configuration management
Experience with network architectures, embedded systems and application deployment across a variety of systems and hardware, to include cloud deployment and virtualization
Familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes including Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction, Engineering Manufacturing and Development, Production and Deployment activities

Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/WIW) at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO ISR (AFPEO/HBS) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO ISR portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/WIW is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.
