Job description:

Azista is seeking a Systems Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge spacecraft. You will work across mission lifecycles, from conceptualization to in-orbit operations, collaborating with subsystem teams to deliver robust and scalable satellite systems. Your role will involve trade-off analysis, requirements management, integration, testing, and mission support.

Key Responsibilities:
• System Architecture & Design: Perform trade-off studies, optimize system mass/power/data budgets, and adapt existing mission architectures.
• Subsystem Integration: Coordinate across power, avionics, and communication subsystems to ensure seamless integration and resolve design challenges.
• Testing & Validation: Support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT), including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulations.
• Launch & In-Orbit Operations: Assist with launch campaigns, in-orbit commissioning, and operational support during critical mission phases.
• Technical Documentation & Compliance: Author ICDs, CONOPS, V&V plans, and present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Proposal & Mission Support: Contribute to bid proposals and system-level design strategies for future space missions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience: 2+ years in satellite system engineering, spacecraft design, or integration.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in trade-off analysis, requirements management, FMECA/FMEA, FDIR principles, and system modelling tools.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal skills, ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Tools & Software: Familiarity with STK, MATLAB/Simulink and mission simulation tools.
