Your Role and Responsibilities IBM Z is seeking a software engineer to be part of a highly skilled, results oriented agile team working with industry leaders in developing the next generation tools platform for the mainframe that powers over +0% of top 100 banks globally and used by over +0% of all Fortune 500 companies today. As part of DevOps for Enterprise Systems group under IBM z Systems, you will join our mission and commitment in delivering state of the art software technology in our modern tools platform for working with large scale enterprise mainframe systems. As a member of a dynamic team in supporting the delivery of enterprise software for a large user base, you demonstrate leadership, technical curiosity, a self-starter, creativity as well as forward thinking with a passion for growth and innovation. Required Technical and Professional Expertise - Minimum 5-10 years experience in z/OS system programming - Minimum 5-10 years experience in z/OS security, RACF, SSL, SSO - Minimum 5-10 years experience working in REXX/CLIST - Strong working knowledge of ISPF dialogs/macros, TSO, JCL, SMF Records, zFS/HFS, UNIX, SCLM, JES - Experience in working with z/OS subsystems (CICS, IMS, MVS, DB2, MQ, JES) - Experience in mainframe storage solutions and database technologies including ISAM, VSAM, IMS, DB2 - Experience in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - A self-starter & ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise - Experience in z/OS Management Facility (z/OS MF), SMP/E - Experience in Java EE, WebSphere Liberty - Experience in microservices architecture and API design - Experience working in COBOL, REXX/CLIST, Assembler - Experience working with mainframe SCM (e.g. Rational Team Concert Enterprise Extensions (RTC EE), Endevor, Git/GitHub/GitLab) About Business Unit IBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
