Introduction:
As a Tableau Developer, the primary objective of this role is to design, develop, test and implement Tableau reports for Controls Technology. This role will be based in Pune and the candidate will work to understand business problems, often helping to bridge the gap between the customer / business stakeholders and teams with a technical focus. The candidate will fully understand and manage non-functional requirements – understand and advise on technical discussions around specialist tools. The candidate will share experiences and work with team to complete knowledge transfer and resolve any issues. The candidate will take on challenging tasks, will be capable of working independently or in a global team to deliver solutions under aggressive timelines with the ability to interact and influence business partners to arrive at the correct solution.
What will you be doing?
• Accountable for the Operation Risk Tech MI & Reporting solution designs, development and testing (unit, functional and regression) in Tableau
• Accountable to provide the daily development status and actively participate in the planning and estimation exercises for code delivery, testing and deployment
• Able to quickly learn about the existing reports and provide ideas for improvement and optimizations
• Able to document data models and lineage for Tableau reports that help in impact assessments

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in Data Visualization tools including Tableau with Oracle 12c/1+c Database
• A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, particularly Agile, LEAN methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Office toolset is add-on
• Quick learner with excellent communication and organization skills
• Knowledge/Experience in Python and other visualization tools
• Knowledge/Experience in Cloud (AWZ/Azure/Google)
