Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Taekwondo Teacher to join our educational institution as an expert in Taekwondo and self defence. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing and guiding students in the art and techniques of these specific sports, fostering their physical development, self-confidence, and overall well-being. This is a full-time position requiring expertise in swimming, self-defense, and skating.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for swimming, self-defense, and skating activities, tailored to the age and skill level of the students.
Teach students the fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies required for swimming, self-defense, and skating.
Conduct training sessions and demonstrations to demonstrate proper techniques, ensuring students understand and can execute them effectively.
Promote safety measures and create a secure learning environment for all students during activities.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Organize and supervise practice sessions, friendly matches, and competitions to enhance students' skills and foster a healthy competitive spirit.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, student performance, and other relevant data to track progress and assess individual growth.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate sports activities into the overall curriculum and school events.
Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, safety standards, and trends in swimming, self-defense, and skating instruction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications and qualifications in taekwondo.
Proven experience in teaching swimming, self-defense, and skating to students of varying ages and skill levels.
