About the role
As a TAFE Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in assessing applications for student places at North Metropolitan TAFE. You’ll work closely with prospective students, schools, College staff and Career Development Officers, providing clear advice and guidance to help applicants choose the most suitable learning pathways. This role is central to ensuring a fair, consistent and supportive admissions experience for everyone engaging with NM TAFE.

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
Over the next twelve (12) months; candidates found “Suitable” through this process may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to candidate permission being granted).
Should no suitable applicant be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further applicants beyond the closing date.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must hold valid Australian work rights at the time of application. Permanent appointments require Australian citizenship or permanent residency, while fixed term and casual appointments require a valid working visa.
