About the role

Mater Human Resources are looking for a Talent Acquisition Resourcer to join our team! Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead offices.

Salary: $85,878 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,+00 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

This role is the backbone to the Talent team and therefore requires an administrator who is highly motivated, engaged and looking to build a formidable Talent Acquisition career.

Deliver specialist resourcing advice and participate in a selection of recruitment activities so that Mater’s recruitment process is efficient and effective.

Respond to enquiries about recruitment activities and status of job vacancies

Prepare job postings and brief external recruitment partners in accordance with our recruitment standards

Explore innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for finding new candidates

Utilise various online and social media resources (such as LinkedIn, Job Boards, Boolean Searches, and Social -Platforms) to build your pipeline

Evaluate candidates in the selection process, including initial screening & shortlisting based on the job's pre-established selection criteria

Contact candidates and schedule interviews

Complete reference checks and coordinate Criminal History Checks

Provide feedback to all candidates to ensure high levels of candidate care and the upholding of Maters brand reputation

Manage the ATS (PageUp) and related tools to ensure candidate details are up to date throughout each stage of the recruitment process

Support the HR team in the preparation of employment contracts, variation letters and other ad hoc documents

Assist with HR projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.

About you

You will have prior experience of recruitment admin/resourcing related activity, either as an in-house or agency setting

Experience utilising PageUp is essential

Experience in the healthcare industry would be advantageous

Proactivity and initiative to service the demands of internal and external customers

Resilience in the ability to juggle multiple priorities at any one time

Well-organised with a keen interest in talent/recruitment, or similar transactional roles, including the ability to maintain a sustained level of focus in high volume processing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance in a timely manner

A highly competent communicator, consultation, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written

An elevated level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Strong written skills and the ability to draft advertisements/contracts and other professional correspondence

Strong administration and time management skills

Demonstrated organisational skills, including the capability to plan and prioritise work tasks, and manage concurrent activities to meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Self-driven and ability to work autonomously

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
