What Would This Role Entail?
The Content Specialist assists the larger organization in translation, transcript and copy requirements. The duties will include producing succinctly written content, proofreading work for accuracy and quality and translation of content and documents whenever necessary.
• Quickly translate documents from English/Hindi to Tamil and vice versa within strict deadlines
• Contribute ideas towards improving the quality and quantity of content
• Research company trends, and create content that is relevant to the target audience
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
Necessary Skills:
• Professional proficiency in Tamil and English/Hindi
• Functional knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office
• Fast typing skills in Tamil and English/Hindi
• Ability to fluently translate content and documents from Kannada to English/Hindi and vice versa
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Tamil/English/Hindi Literature
Good to Have Skills:
• Basic understanding of politics and the nature of India’s democracy
• Calm under pressure and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment
• Deadline-focused and goal-driven with excellent problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and reasonable verbal communication skills
