Vacancy for a Tamil Journalist [Both experienced and Freshers]:
Kitchen Herald news portal is looking for a Tamil Journalist to work from Chennai. Minimum of 1 year experience in news writing would be preferable.
The prospective candidate would be executing the following activities.
1. Writing, re-writing and translation of English content to Tamil.
2. Strong news sense. Should be having news-reading and writing skills
3. Ensure that top news in the English website is translated to Tamil for Tamil Nadu audience.
4. Travel Across Tamil Nadu to conduct interviews of relevant industry personalities whenever needed.
5. Support in terms of events.
6. Interviewing leading restaurant owners, food manufacturers, caterers and distributors/ traders.
Desired skills and qualifications:
1. Strong error-free Tamil writing skills
2. Positive approach, go-getter and constant learning attitude.
Work location: Chennai/ Thanjavur
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as content writer/editor.
