Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of excellence while adhering to food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Must have good knowledge of North Indian food
Experience in cooking with a tandoor, an Indian-style oven, using special sauces and spices.
Prepare food for service.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
Stock inventory appropriately.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co workers and customers.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
