Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tandoori Chef at Baileys Bar and Grill located in Nuneaton. The Tandoori Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, ensuring quality and consistency in flavor and presentation. Daily tasks include marinating meats, managing tandoor ovens, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The chef will also collaborate with kitchen staff and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
• Experience in Tandoori cooking and Indian cuisine
• Knowledge of marinating methods and managing tandoor ovens
• Ability to follow recipes consistently and accurately
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Relevant culinary certifications or training is a plus
