Job Description
Brewsmith Brewing is a community-focused craft brewery dedicated to producing high-quality beers while fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The Taproom Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in our taproom, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining inventory. This role will also involve financial oversight and brand representation, contributing to a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our guests. The manager should have a passion for craft beer, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to community engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Staff Management
● Recruit, train, and develop taproom staff, ensuring they provide outstanding service and product knowledge.
● Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
● Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages growth and teamwork.
Customer Experience
● Enhance the overall customer experience by implementing best practices in service and hospitality.
● Engage with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building rapport with the community.
● Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Bartending/Serving
● Actively bartend and serve, demonstrating exemplary service and product knowledge.
● Create and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting taproom environment.
● Educate customers about our beers, including flavor profiles, brewing methods, and pairings.
● Be available to work evenings, weekends, and cover shifts as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Inventory Management
● Oversee inventory levels, ensuring proper stock of beers, merchandise, and supplies.
● Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of products.
● Work closely with the brewing & ownership team to manage product availability and seasonal offerings.
Financial Oversight
● Provide insight in budgeting and financial planning for the taproom.
● Monitor sales and expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
● Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement.
Brand Representation
● Promote brand awareness and community engagement.
● Ensure that all branding and marketing materials are displayed effectively in the taproom.
Event Planning
● Assist in planning and executing events that strengthen community ties and enhance customer engagement.
● Coordinate with local organizations and vendors for successful event execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
