Position: Tattoo Artist
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Employment type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $36 CAD per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours depending on studio needs

We are a growing tattoo studio in Ottawa focused on high-quality artistry, cleanliness, and a welcoming client experience. Our work blends fine line techniques, detailed composition, and nature-inspired concepts. We are looking for a skilled Tattoo Artist to join our team long-term.
Liquid Impact Tattoo is seeking a professional Tattoo Artist with experience in fine line work, micro-realism, and free-hand compositions. Experience with floral or nature-inspired styles is considered an asset.
Applicants must maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow Ontario health and safety standards, and work professionally with clients. Social media content creation is an asset.
A minimum of 2 years of professional tattooing experience is required.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients regarding design requests
Create custom designs and prepare stencils
Perform tattoo procedures safely and professionally
Maintain workstation cleanliness and proper sterilization
Follow Ontario infection control requirements
Provide clients with aftercare instructions
Manage appointments and client communication
Support general studio maintenance
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional tattooing experience
Strong portfolio (fine line, micro-realism, detailed work)
Knowledge of sanitation procedures
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Good communication skills
No formal education required
Nice to Have
Experience in fine line, floral, or detailed textural styles.
Familiarity with digital design tools (Procreate or similar).
CPR or bloodborne pathogen certification.
Work Environment
Licensed, professional tattoo studio
Collaborative, supportive team setting
All equipment provided except personal machines
