Tax Accountant - Statutory Reporting
We are working with an exciting client within the property sector who are looking to hire a Tax Accountant working within statutory reporting.
Location: Bracknell – Hybrid – 3 days on site
Salary: £60k - £70k

Responsibilities:
• Produce primary financial statements, disclosure notes, and statutory group accounts in Excel and CCH.
• Maintain the F2414CA Non-financial F3 and sustainability statement.
• Coordinate work to ensure accurate reporting standards.
• Own the preparation of annual subsidiary accounts.
• Support interim and year-end reporting and audits.
• Liaise with auditors on key deliverables and reporting issues.
• Draft technical accounting papers for auditors, Audit Committee, and Board.
• Act as financial reporting subject matter expert.
• Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheet and cash flow reports.
• Support tax compliance in acquisition due diligence.
• Review completion accounts and ensure accurate financial and tax disclosures.
• Lead corporate simplification projects with tax and accounting considerations.
• Prepare corporation tax and deferred tax calculations.
• File ERS returns for group schemes.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and assess cross-border impacts.
• Manage Statutory Reporting & Tax Assistant Accountant to meet group objectives.
• Oversee SAO process, VAT reviews, quarterly tax payments, and US tax reporting.
Qualifications / Skills:
• ACA qualified with post-qualification experience, ideally gained in large organisations or through external audit roles at leading firms.
• Skilled in preparing and reviewing financial statements under UKGAAP.
• Experienced in applying technical accounting standards in both group consolidations and subsidiary reporting.
• Background in tax advisory or compliance, with strong knowledge of corporation tax and VAT.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
