About the Job:
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax department.
• Provide high-quality customer service promptly.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services.
• Assist clients with tax questions and gather necessary information for compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of Public Accounting experience, focusing on taxation.
• Proficiency in tax forms: 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, payroll forms, and Maryland Personal Property Tax Return.
• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem FX and Quickbooks.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask accurately under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced technical skills in accounting and tax preparation.
• Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm preferred.
• Master's in Taxation (preferred).
• CPA, EA, or Certified Financial Planner designations (preferred).
