The Opportunity: As a Tax Advisor in our division, you will work with various clients, providing high-quality specialist tax advice and services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Stay informed on legislation, case law, and Inland Revenue rulings.
Understand and use tax compliance procedures and software effectively.
Attend training courses to improve skills and knowledge continuously.
Ensure confidentiality and provide quality client service.
Build relationships, meet deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement.
You Will Bring:
A degree in relevant subjects such as accounting, finance, or economics that meets CAANZ requirements, or a Law degree.
Completion of Law Professionals or Provisional membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or Certified Practising Accountants (Australia), with progression through the technical and capstone modules.
Competence and literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
A professional approach to work and a strong client focus.
The ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
Self-motivation with a high level of initiative.
