The firm is based in Jaipur.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Litigation Associate. As a Tax Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as researching tax laws and regulations, representing clients, attending court proceedings, and providing legal advice to clients on tax-related matters. You will work closely with seniors associates & partners and clients to provide high-quality, effective representation in tax litigation matters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Researching & drafting various letters, replies and submissions.
• Providing advisory and consultancy to clients on time to time basis.
• Assisting Senior associates and partners in the preparation of Tax matters before AO, CIT(A), ITAT, High Court, and Supreme Court.
• Assisting Senior associates and partners on various proposals and business development.
• Coordination with the client for appeal filing & preparation of paper books.
• Managing various tax compliance.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in conducting thorough research using platforms such as Taxman.com, CurrentTaxOnline.com, TaxSutra.com, and Manupatra.com
Qualification Required:
• Chartered Accountant (Preferred) or LL.B
• Preference shall be given to candidate having experience of Direct Taxation matters.
Post-qualification Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
Salary:
• 4,80,000-7,20,000 pa.
