Job Details

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on delivering high-quality tax services. As a Tax Senior, you will play a critical role in managing client engagements, providing tax consulting services, and ensuring compliance with various tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

Identify and address potential tax issues and opportunities for tax savings.

Serve as a primary contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service.

Advise clients on various tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, and strategy.

Conduct thorough tax research on complex issues and provide well-founded solutions.

Analyze financial records and reports to identify tax implications and opportunities.

Collaborate with team members on tax projects, sharing knowledge and guidance.

Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on tax compliance and advisory services.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
