Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their career in a thriving and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for handling all tax-related matters, with a particular emphasis on trust and estate and HNW. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.

As a Tax Senior, your key responsibilities will include
• Preparation and review of complex tax returns, including trust and estate returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Providing tax planning and consulting services to clients, while ensuring potential tax liabilities are minimized.
• Researching and analyzing changes in tax legislation and advising clients on the potential impacts.
• Assisting with IRS audit defense, including responding to inquiries and notices.
• Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborating with other team members to achieve efficient and effective tax solutions for clients.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff members.
• Participating in internal and external continuing education opportunities to stay updated with the latest developments in the field.

Qualifications
To be considered for the Tax Senior position, you must have the following qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant tax experience, specifically with trust and estate tax matters.
• Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes, and the ability to apply this knowledge to client needs.
• Proficiency in tax software and technology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff members.
