Direct Taxation (Chief Manager)

Chartered Accountant
Experience.
5-7 years and above
Experience Banking and financial services with financial service experience preferred
• Having complete experience in all facets of direct taxes such as - tax returns - tax audit - transfer pricing audit - assessments - appeals filing and hearings Providing tax advice to all units in organization.
• Having complete clarity on banking tax procedural issues TDS expense and deposits , TDS deducted on Income, Form 60, 15G, 15CA CB etc.
• Transfer pricing between subsidiaries and other Tax units.
• Should have good understating of direct tax issues for the Banking & Financial Service (BFS) sector
• Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in taxation and regulations
• Should have sound drafting knowledge to draft the reply of Income Tax notices/E-assessment/E-Appeal independently with minimum guidance.

• Manage Direct Tax compliance, reporting and filing Return requirements, Assessments
• Co-coordinating with different teams, and group entities for the data requirement for the Direct Tax notices, collation and submission of reply.
• Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the Group
• Act as the key point of contact and support for local and regional taxation matters
• Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax support for the Group
• Manage external tax authorities and consultants
• Review current and deferred tax provision
• Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group.
• Advise business on business arrangements regarding relevant tax/regulatory implications and structuring opportunities
• Regular review of activities and annual compliance thereafter to ensure that appropriate and available tax benefits are availed by the company
• Ensuring timely and appropriate tax compliance - advance tax, withholding tax, filing of annual returns,
• Doing analysis and preparing submissions for income tax assessments, TDS assessments, appeals and show-cause notices
• ISDA / International agreements review / withholding tax on international transactions
• Handling Tax litigation at all levels like CIT(A), Tribunal, High Court, Supreme Court
