Job Description
ACT Cabs is hiring and training new taxi drivers in Canberra.
We train and assist new drivers.
We are looking for enthusiastic drivers who will provide good customer service to our large customer base.
We offer great working conditions. You are backed by an experienced team of support staff that know the taxi industry inside out.
To be eligible, you must hold a full Australian driver license.
New taxi drivers will need to complete the following items to get a taxi license. It is a an easy process. ACT Cabs will guide you:
1. Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP Check)
2. Medical Check
3. Nationally coordinated criminal history check
4. You will receive taxi specific training before you commence the work.
For new drivers that drive 50 or more shifts with ACT Cabs, we will reimburse the full cost of your WWVP Check, Medical Check and Training.
