We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Taxi Driver for OLA Cab. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and responsibly operate a taxi vehicle to transport customers to their desired destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, both inside and out, to ensure a professional and presentable appearance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and fares collected, and submit them to the appropriate authorities as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations and ensure efficient service.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve any issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Stay updated on local traffic patterns, road closures, and other factors that may affect travel times, and adjust routes accordingly to minimize delays.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, treating all customers with respect and courtesy.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Prior experience as a taxi driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
