Overall management control and delivery of business and IT. This role would require complete understanding the functional requirements of the banking domain use cases, excellent understanding of API platform, appropriately identifying the different components required for the solution, etc. to deliver world class products and achieve a market leading position. Drive income and competitive advantage to deliver to the revenue objectives of the business, whilst improving the customer experience.
What will you be doing?
• Create delivery plan, manage & deliver projects within agreed timescales and budgets
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with teams across the organisation, ensuring effective delivery of applications into the production environment
• Liaise with program/project managers, release managers & keeping them updated on work progress against milestones, risks & issues.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, attend the project calls and share the work status with the PMs.
• Identify own development needs and proactively drive development of own capability, using all available means, to achieve world class standards
• Collaborate with the application support / service teams to ensure smooth transition of applications into their BAU environments
• Ensure that all governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies are adhered to while deploying changes into production.
• Raise a production CR and coordinate the deployment with the dev-ops team.
• Manage and co-ordinate projects, their interdependencies, and associated risks and issues, escalating to the engineering leads to ensure project delivery
• Control the Project scope, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercised
• Ensure that all Project status reporting is accurate, informative and timely, and directly provide progress reports.
• Escalate for management intervention wherever gaps in the Programme/Project are identified or issues arise
• Provide ongoing monitoring of the Project to confirm that delivery meets the Project's objectives and continues to make effective use of available funds and resources
• Creates and manages detailed Project Implementation Plans, ensuring resources in place and outages agreed
• Ensure all change record are submitted and closed within established timeframes
• Conducts Go/ No-go meetings
• Produces project implementation communications
Ensures resolution of minor and major incidents associated with the project, facilitate regular checkpoints during the Implementation period (and through roll-back if necessary)
