Required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Licensure: Valid Math 6-12 or Math 4-8 Georgia Teacher Certificate
• Previous Work-Related Experience: None

Preferred
• Classroom Management Experience
• Experience with Relevant LMS(s)

Position Description

The Teacher educates students on a daily basis, managing the classroom environment and encouraging student growth and achievement. as well as encouraging their growth. They plan and execute curriculum by setting clear objectives for lessons and projects, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, and utilizing technology for effective instruction. Teachers are responsible for creating a conducive learning environment through organized classroom management and activities while assessing student progress through tests and assignments. They help students meet learning targets, communicate relevant information to students, staff, administrators, and parents, and manage student behavior in the classroom.

• Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study.
• Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to students' needs.

• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and needs.
• Provide accommodations for students with disabilities.

• Meet with other professionals to discuss students, such as when preparing individualized education plans (IEPs).
