Position : Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Work with children with Autism in 1:1 and group settings under direct supervision of the Senior Instructor Therapists and the BCBA.
- To help children with autism to acquire skills in:
Language and communication
Core and Applied Academic
Self-Regulation
Play and leisure
Social and Life Skills
** will provide training
Qualifications:
Relevant Diploma/degree in a Canadian college/university
Knowledgeable with autism, ABA
Must have patience and prepare to accommodate the various symptoms of ASD
Must be willing to work with children of wide range of abilities and needs
Good communication skills
