Full–time
As a Nursery School Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children in a nursery school setting. You will play a vital role in facilitating their social, emotional, and cognitive development while ensuring their safety and well-being. Your passion for early childhood education, creativity, and ability to engage with young learners will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities that promote the overall development of children in areas such as language, literacy, math, science, art, and social skills.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where children can explore, play, and learn at their own pace.
• Foster positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring open and effective communication about children's progress, behavior, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Observe and assess individual children's development and progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation to track their growth.
• Provide guidance and support to children, helping them develop self-confidence, independence, and positive social skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan and organize school-wide events, celebrations, and field trips that enhance children's learning experiences.
• Assist with mealtime routines, including supervising and encouraging healthy eating habits and promoting good table manners.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including arranging furniture, setting up learning centers, and organizing materials and resources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines specific to a nursery school setting.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. An associate degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Proven experience working with young children in a nursery school or preschool setting.
• Sound knowledge of child development principles, early learning methodologies, and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where each child's individuality is respected and celebrated.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Familiarity with relevant educational resources, materials, and technology used in early childhood education.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Any additional certifications or training in early childhood education or related fields will be considered an asset.
