An opening has arisen within Saint Kentigern Girls’ School for an experienced Teacher to join our Middle School team (Year 6). This is a parental leave role commencing Term 1, 2026 until the end of Term 3, 2026 with the possibility to extend this to the end of Term 4, 2026. It will suit a primary trained teacher.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and relevant learning programmes
- Collaborate with the team to promote best student outcomes
- Commitment to the special character and cocurricular life of the school
Requirements:
- Registered NZ teacher
- Teaching Degree or relevant Teaching qualification
- Excellent curriculum knowledge
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to relate effectively to young people, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Willingness to uphold the special character and culture of Saint Kentigern and commitment to the co-curricular sports programme of the Girls’ School
