Job Description
Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff, and external bodies within the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers agreements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum plans, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and planning engaging lessons that cater to diverse learner needs
Assessing pupil progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
Maintaining accurate records and reports on student performance
Requirements:
Appropriate teaching qualification (e.g., BEd, PGDE)
Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in the relevant subject or sector
PVG scheme membership for working with children
