At The Friends’ School we believe that developing proficiency in English empowers students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers and lifelong learners. Our curriculum encompasses a diverse range of print, spoken, visual, media, multimedia, and digital texts, fostering an enriching learning environment.

We are seeking an innovative and creative English teacher to guide our Senior Secondary students on their journey of knowledge and understanding. The ideal candidate will be passionate about English and skilled in inspiring students to engage with language and literature.

Experience teaching Senior Secondary students is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic educators passionate about teaching with the ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater for diverse learning styles, including LAT and early career teachers.

This is a fixed-term contract for one year, commencing on 1 January 2025, with an approximate teaching load of between 60% – 80%. The exact hours are to be confirmed.
