Job Description:
As a Teacher of Geography at Harrow International School Bengaluru, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive geography lessons aligned with the international curriculum. You will inspire students to develop an understanding of physical and human geography while encouraging analytical skills, environmental awareness, and cultural appreciation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography or related field (minimum qualification)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in an international or comparable educational setting
- Strong knowledge of contemporary geographical concepts, issues, and methodologies
- Ability to design lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Competence in using technology as a teaching aid including digital mapping tools where applicable
- Experience assessing student progress through various formative and summative methods
