Teacher of Mathematics (Maternity Cover)

The ideal candidate will:

be an excellent communicator who will convey their passion for all areas of mathematics to pupils of all ages and ability.

be willing to make a full contribution to the development of the teaching and learning of mathematics throughout the school, including the Prep Department.

be expected to deliver exciting and varied lessons which engage pupils and encourage them to develop their skills and understanding of the subject.

show initiative and confidence within the subject, aiming to stretch our able pupils whilst also having the flexibility to support our less able pupils.

The successful candidate will be:

enthusiastic, motivational and hard working with a passion for teaching.

able to adapt to the needs of the children to support individual learning needs.

able to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level standards.
