Pay: £100 - £250 per day (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)

Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teachers of RE who can deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons across the curriculum. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young people to explore beliefs, values, ethics, and moral issues while promoting inclusion, tolerance, and critical thinking within a positive learning environment.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Religious Education, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
Encourage respectful discussion around beliefs, ethics, values, and worldviews
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (Elementa can assist)
Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (including placements)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable:
Experience teaching KS5

Weekly pay – no waiting for monthly payroll cut-off dates; Elementa pays one week in lieu
