OOAcademy (Officers Online Academy) is a Pune-based institution with a commitment to increasing the selection rate of students from poor, rural, and distance backgrounds in civil services and other competitive exams. We also provide a free online e-learning platform in Marathi language to rural students.
Role Description
OOAcademy is looking for a full-time Teacher to help us achieve our mission to provide quality education to rural and underprivileged students. This is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Pune but some work from home is acceptable. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans, grading assignments and tests, providing feedback, and creating a positive classroom environment. You will also be responsible for being a role model for students and helping them achieve academic success.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience in teaching and developing lesson plans for students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to helping students succeed
• Experience in providing online instruction and/or using technology in the classroom is preferred
• Fluency in English and Marathi language
• Creativity and resourcefulness in teaching methods
• Ability to work well with others and collaborate with colleagues
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
