At Swadhaa Waldorf Learning Centre we are seeking teachers who love children and are very excited about teaching.
Requirements:
Have the subject expertise | Are keen on interdisciplinary approach | Encourages self discovery of concepts | Facilitate understanding through co-exploration and experiential activities
For all the posts, excellent communication skills in English is a must
ENGLISH TEACHER - GRADE 6 TO 10 (Full-time)
Enthusiastic teacher, with necessary subject skills and with an ability to creatively bring alive the language through literary works and other mediums like documentry, other experiential activities and aids. Additional exposure and experience of History / Sociology will be an advantage. Additional guidance and training support will be provided.
MARATHI TEACHER (Full-time)
Interested in Marathi language and literature with an extensive reading of the same.
An ability to bring about the language through creative methods of storytelling, group activities, games, music, and movement.
In-house training for the same will be provided
REMEDIAL TEACHER (Full time)
Full time teacher for remedial support to children across Grade 1 to 10. This requires love, patience and skills to attend to children one-on-one and help them with their lessons through various methods.
To integrate the conventional remedial methods with the principles of Waldorf education will be needed. In-house training will be provided for the same.
A prior remedial teaching experience and respective degree would be an added advantage.
LIBRARY EDUCATOR (Full/ Part time)
A person who is fascinated by varied genres of books. Is a versatile reader and keen to inculcate the love for reading in children.
To conduct various activities for children in the Library to engage them with different genres of books.
To maintain all Library records.
