The American Embassy School, New Delhi is hiring for the position of Teaching Assistant - Learning Support - Extended Services Program in the Elementary School.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the lead teacher in the Extended Services Program to create and implement individualized educational programs for students with disabilities.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree (in education, special education, disability services or related field)
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience working in a school, preferably with students with significant disabilities
Preferred Requirements:
• Training/certification in special education, disability services, or related field
• Teaching experience with students with disabilities
• Experience modifying curriculum for individual student needs
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Proficiency in oral and written English
