Job Description

A lovely and inclusive primary school in Barnet (HA8) is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Year 3 class. This is a general classroom-based role with additional opportunities to support children with SEN, ideal for someone confident working across the wider class as well as with pupils who need extra support.

About the Role:
You will be working alongside the class teacher to support learning across the Year 3 classroom. The role includes general classroom support as well as working with pupils who have additional needs, so confidence and flexibility are key. This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and wants to build strong classroom experience.

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in a school setting
Confidence supporting both mainstream pupils and those with SEN
Positive, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
