Description
Collège Milestone is currently seeking candidates for vocational education teaching positions in the following program: Institutional and Home Care Assistance
Schedule: Daytime or evening, weekdays or weekends, full-time or part-time — based on the candidate’s availability and cohort schedules.
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Create a positive and effective learning environment;
Foster student engagement and enjoyment in learning;
Acknowledge and value student diversity;
Support students' personal identity and self-esteem;
Communicate clear and achievable expectations;
Display a welcoming and respectful attitude;
Create meaningful learning experiences aligned with the Quebec Education Program;
Work collaboratively with college staff to support student success;
Maintain confidentiality;
Build warm relationships and communicate regularly with students.
Your Strengths
Strong collaboration skills;
Passion for your profession and eagerness to share it;
Energy and adaptability;
Skilled in group facilitation, classroom management, and knowledge transfer;
High level of professional ethics.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma (vocational, college, or university) relevant to the program;
Member of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) or Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ);
Holder of a teaching permit, legal teaching qualification, or currently pursuing a recognized teacher training pathway;
Experience in a hospital or long-term care facility (an asset);
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field;
At least 3 years of nursing experience;
Experience teaching in vocational education (an asset).
