Description:
William Buck, more than advisors: We understand that exceptional advice comes from passionate people who thrive in an environment where they feel empowered to shape outcomes. That's why at William Buck, we've created what we like to call the 'Goldilocks' model – a top ten performing business that's just the right size to ensure every employee has a tangible impact.

William Buck is the perfect place to start, grow or take your career to the next level. Be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on delivering advice that makes a difference.

Description of the role: We’re seeking a Team Assistant to join our team. In this role you’ll shape how the world sees William Buck. From developing creative campaigns to engaging stakeholders, you’ll amplify the firm’s story and play a vital role in driving our brand forward.

What makes us 'just right':
No formal qualifications required, we are seeking an individual who is motivated, reliable and eager to learn.
This is an entry level role designed for someone who has a hands-on approach, is eager to grow their skills on the job and contribute positively to the team.
You will be comfortable learning new technical skills, have natural problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential; you should be comfortable working with a diverse team and have a positive attitude.

What your day might look like:
Support our business development processes by logging and following up on enquiries and contact-us requests, ensuring accurate records.
Maintain calendars, schedules, and reporting by collating information and keeping key documents up to date.
Coordinate merchandise and client gifts to support a strong brand presence and maintain great relationships across the firm.
Assist in creating engaging visual content for internal digital screens and platforms like Viva Engage.
Help source content and materials for internal and external campaigns, including Foundation and People & Culture initiatives such as NAIDOC Week.
Contribute to updating and polishing presentations to ensure clarity and consistency.

What makes us 'just right':
Open door policy – 1 on 1 access to Partners & Managers.
Clear career pathways and focused learning and development programs - national Graduate College, monthly tax training, CA support and virtual study sessions.
You will be part of a collaborative, social and inclusive culture - we have lots of social events, firm drinks, and regular colleague networking opportunities.
We are Accountants, but we aren't boring! You will learn a lot, you will be challenged, and you will have a lot of fun.

Additional Benefits

Flexible working to help you balance work and personal responsibilities.
Career enhancement and development opportunities.
