Technical Team Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Team Leader to join our dynamic Platform Team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Java, cloud operation (AWS/Azure), and Kubernetes, as well as strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and deployment of complex Java-based applications. Mentor and coach team members on technical skills and best practices. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. Collaborate with other technical leaders, product managers, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects and initiatives. Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. Utilize Kubernetes to manage containerized applications in a production environment. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry, and share knowledge with the team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our systems. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. In-depth knowledge of Java and cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure). Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of software engineers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Able to work with remote team across tiemzones (America, Europe, Asia)
