We're looking at the Alt Hotel Calgary University District for an autonomous, organized Housekeeping Team Leader who never hesitates to put his or her shoulder to the wheel to support and motivate peers. In his or her element when the going gets tough, he or she adapts easily to the unexpected, proposes solutions. Acting as a resource person for his or her team, he or she is attentive to their needs and naturally provides a caring, positive presence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate day-to-day housekeeping activities: supply equipment, take inventory, assign tasks to the team, and inspect rooms and other designated areas when the housekeeping manager is not here.
Supervise room attendants and public area attendants.
Be available to help out the housekeeping team
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
1 to 2 years' housekeeping position
Great ability to work under pressure and to adapt
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Natural ability to communicate, inspire and mobilize teams bringing together individuals from different cultures.
