Job Purpose : This role provides an oversight of overall activities of IBU and ensure activities carried out in IBU is in compliance with approved policies Job Duties & responsibilities :- Provide oversight on overall activities of IBU and ensure activities carried out in IBU is in compliance with the approved policies (DBS and IFSCA) Ensure all internal policies are up to date and ensure modification/updation and take up for approval as per defined process Provide inputs to Governing Body on any gaps or shortcomings observed in the policies/frameworks Ensure all reporting at local and regional level is done as per defined timelines Participate in all meetings/reviews of Governing Body to be carried out as per timelines defined by IFSCA Monitor and ensure implementation of strategic directions provided by IBU Governing Body. Required Experience :- Sufficient knowledge and experience of the Unit's business operations and processes Understanding of regulations related to AML/KYC/CFT locally as well as for the group Ability to provide balanced perspective between business expediency and risk & control. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions. Education / Preferred Qualifications:- A post-graduate or equivalent degree (with experience / understanding of banking and sales). Computer proficiency (comfortable with MS Office, advanced excel understanding) Core Competencies:- Analytical Skills Self Motivated Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to carry out Senior Management interactions independently. Work Relationship:- All Business Units within GIFT City India-Gujarat-Ahmedabad
