About Role - Need to have a professional experience of at least 6-+ years working as a Backend Developer/Lead having background in a financial domain.
Job Responsibilities
Lead a team of backend developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and frontend developers, to define project requirements and technical solutions.
Design, architect, and develop scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs using appropriate technologies and programming languages.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
Identify technical risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
Lead the planning and estimation of backend development tasks, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation.
Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and recommend suitable technologies or frameworks for adoption.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the backend development team.
Focus on quality of delivery, planning and delivery on time.
Skill Sets
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team of developers.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in backend development, such as Java or Python.
Experience with backend frameworks and technologies, such as Spring Boot, Django, Ruby on Rails.
Solid understanding of Relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment is good to have.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in sprints and Agile methodologies.
