Candidate will be e member of Financial Markets Security Ops Service Management which enables BAU team in providing world class service to Front office and our clients. i.e. to ensure BAU team s (FM Securities - Bonds and Equities) product and Technical needs are fulfilled timely and appropriately by technology and new business enablement stake holders Candidate is expected to • Be part of the team • That consolidates the technical needs of Security operations (Financial Market Security Operations) • Single point of contact for Operations team to fulfil their technical needs and for technical team to clarify on requirements, testing and deployment • Subject Matter expert in business workflows • Business Analysis (Requirements gathering and Testing) • Rolling out of new initiatives at operations in relation to process or product. Responsibilities include • Gathering requirements from operations and business • Providing requirements to development team • Preparing and executing functional test cases • Working closely with technology teams in rolling out changes in production. • Assist in completion of Documentation for new market and process • Co-ordination for Training for staff • That enables new business and products (from operations perspective) • Custody Account Management to support business in new markets - Opening of new accounts, Managing periodic documentation (Tax re certification, etc) Closing of accounts etc. • Liaise with BAU leads in carrying out operational feasibility to support new products that are being offered by business. • That Manage application vendor and internal technical teams to ensure that BAU teams gets timely and appropriate technical support and assistance. And thus enabling BAU team in providing world class service to Front office and our clients • External and internal application support teams resolved the system incidents as per SLA. • Continuous review of ageing items with support teams and follow up accordingly. • Periodic service review. • Ensure that external and internal application support teams complete RCA and take remedial actions in timely manner. • Partner with different Business and operations teams to understand their current and future needs, work towards solution and support in implement various initiatives. • Maintain a positive working relationship with the business and technical stakeholders internally and externally and drive servicing standards for the division. • Multitasking is essential. Should be able to manage various Project initiatives within the Department, manage cross functional Teams, besides strategy and cost management skills. • Highly organized individual able to work on multiple project streams simultaneously and clearly display current progress. • Willingness to learn and able to articulate the requirements and issues clearly Regulatory and Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct. • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate • 4 years of experience in any international banking operations that includes the below. • At least last the last 1 years with international security (Bonds and Equities) operations and stake holder management (including the technical vendors). • Exposure to settlement process in international security markets (Like Clearstream, Euro clear, Fed Ny) is must. • Working knowledge in security (Bonds and Equities) operations and workflows - Settlement , Confirmations and client custody services. • Working knowledge in GLOSS / GPTM (securities processing platform by Broadridge). • Effective communication skills and good team player.
