What the role is all about:
The Team Lead Venue Maintenance and Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading and training the Venue Maintenance Team in both spring/summer and winter tasks, as well as overseeing warehouse operations. This role ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of park grounds, manages inventory and deliveries, and supports multi-departmental needs.

What you will be doing:
Provide leadership, training, and ongoing development to the Venue Maintenance and Warehouse teams to ensure high performance, team cohesion, and accountability.
Manage the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire park’s exterior, including the ski hill, AIC, and parking lots, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for outdoor garbage management, seasonal landscaping, and grounds upkeep to maintain consistent standards of cleanliness and aesthetics
Lead proactive initiatives to keep the park free of debris and litter, promoting environmental stewardship and public safety
Manage all landscaping operations across park grounds and venues, including turf care, tree and shrub maintenance, and seasonal planting of flowers
Oversee the maintenance and presentation of park pageantry such as banners, flags, and other visual elements, ensuring they reflect the organization’s brand and standards
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to provide logistical support during events, traffic control, and special deliveries, ensuring seamless operations
Lead winter operations, including snow and ice management, ensuring walkways and parking lots are safe and accessible through strategic planning and responsive action
Respond to and resolve snow and ice-related issues, coordinating team deployment and documenting actions taken
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of daily tasks and safety procedures in eCompliance, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability
Manage supply chain logistics, including ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and ensuring warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to address ongoing operational needs, enhance service delivery, and support event execution
Lead mail distribution and ensure timely communication flow within the organization
Support workforce planning and performance management, including recruitment, onboarding, budget review, and the development and auditing of training documentation
Take initiative on special projects and perform additional leadership duties as assigned to support overall park operations and strategic goals
Other tasks as assigned
What you bring:
Proven experience in venue maintenance, groundskeeping, and/or warehouse operations.
Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift certification required
Work Conditions:
Must be comfortable working outdoors year-round, including in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain).
Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing 20 lbs or more.
Physical stamina and mobility necessary to navigate large outdoor spaces, uneven terrain, and venue infrastructure.
